PASTOR TODD UPDATES
Dear CCC family,
On behalf of the entire Solberg family, we want to thank all of you for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support for us. It has definitely been a hard week but we have felt so loved and so prayed over. God has been so faithful to provide all of you to pray, encourage, send scriptures, and many other things. Although we haven’t been able to respond to every single message, please know they have all been read and received with hearts of thanksgiving. While this took us by surprise, we know this did not surprise God. And he will use this for His glory in His perfect timing. We are grateful for the things now that we can look back on and see his hand in so many details leading up to this. He has fiercely protected Todd in his time of need and provided comfort and peace that passes all understanding to the whole family. Todd is doing well today (Thursday) and begging everyone to let him out of here. He is progressing in his recovery very well and though it will be a little while, he will be back to normal, and even better! You all are the biggest blessing to us and we are so thankful to do life with each of you. We have never felt more loved and cared for. Thank you for you for standing in the gap for us. We love you all!!! - Ingrid and Todd for the family Todd's surgery is complete. The doctors said everything went well, and were extremely encouraging to the family. Please continue praying for the family and for Todd's recovery as they continue to evaluate and move forward.
We're thankful for your prayers and love and support CCC! The hospital is prepping Todd for surgery right now. Be praying for success of surgery, for speedy recovery, for Ingrid to be able to spend the night in the hospital, and do much more. Also so thankful that the Solberg family was able to see him, which other than Ingrid had not been able to happen. So grateful to you all for the prayers and support.
The neurosurgeon came by and went over the MRI with Todd and Ingrid. They are optimistic about the tumor believing it to be benign and the removal of it. Surgery will take place in the next few days.
Dear CCC Family,
Some of you have already heard, and we’d like to get the word out for people to be praying for the Solberg family. Todd had at least one seizure today and has been taken to Richland in Columbia for further testing on a tumor they’ve found on or around the brain. Be praying for spot on accurate diagnosis, for even a miraculous removal of the tumor, for peace for all involved, and for God’s story to be loud and clear in this situation. We would appreciate holding off calling them tonight, but feel free to text. Wanting the family to be supported but undistracted right now. Lastly, please do not spread information that has not been confirmed by those directly involved. Much much thx for being God’s hands and feet here! - Mark |
