Join us this summer for Summer Restore. During the week of June 16-20, CCC will be join Sumter United Ministries to complete a roofing project. We’d love for you to come and be a part of this team. Shifts are broken up by the half day so sign up for all that you can or want to serve. If you can’t get on a roof or limited in what you can do you can also help out by being a par to the lunch crew each day. We’d love for you to serve along side of us and our community.

*Must be 13 to get on the roof. We will have cleanup and other help needed on the ground.

See you at Summer Restore 2025.

Have you ever wanted to be on our Guatemala Mission Trip and couldn’t do it? Whatever reason has prevented you from being able to go, we have 2 great ways for you to be involved in this year’s trip. First, our team of 12 is fundraising and working towards making the money needed to attend this year’s trip. If you’d like to give to the entire team to one person directly you can do that in the link below. Second, we have a great opportunity to partner with El Triunfo, to be a part of a building project for this summer’s trip. The community is working to raise money to build an exterior perimeter structure to keep their schools and medical centers safe. This project is $23,000. We know you may not be able to be on the ground for this, but by giving generously you will have a huge impact in this years experience. The best part of this is that your money is going to be used by this year’s team who gets to work alongside the community to help in the building of this structure.

CCC is passionate about missions, and we have several ways you can learn how to join in an upcoming missions project. We have church-wide mission trips to our partner in El Triunfo, Guatemala, we partner with the City of Sumter in citywide clean-up projects, we serve alongside Sumter United Ministries with multiple ways to serve our community in clean-up, yard work and roofing projects, and more that you can learn about below. If you can't serve, and would like to make a donation we have several ways that are incredibly helpful. All donations will go to missions projects.

SOME OF OUR MISSIONS INITIATIVES

CIU Prison Initiative

Picture
This month we will be spotlighting the CIU Prison Initiative. Through this program men who are serving time at Kirkland Correctional Institution have an opportunity to get an education covering courses in core classes, but also in Biblical Studies. Upon graduation of this program, the men are being sent out into prisons all around the state to serve and minister for the sake of the Gospel. Our church has been incredibly blessed by seeing what God has done and continues to do in these men and how he is using them for the Kingdom. CCC continues to help fund and provide this education and is excited about the opportunity to head back into the Prison, once restrictions are lifted, to share God’s word with these students.

410 Bridge

Picture
This month for our 12 month missions awareness we want to bring our attention to 410 Bridge. We partner with 410 to help communities like Cercady, Haiti and a future community in Guatemala soon! 410 serves communities by helping establish towns and villages with training, resources  in order to build them into a self sustainable model. Join us as we pray for 410 Bridge this month.

What can I do?
  • First, pray. Take time to pray for 410 Bridge, their leadership and their support. As they reach the different communities, and coordinate creating partnerships with churches and communities. Pray for our current partner city Cercady, Haiti. Pray for their leadership counsel, the people in the village, and that as we transition out of Cercady, they will continue to thrive as a community. Pray for our 320 Students mission trip to Guatemala. Pray as we continue to look for our next partner city there as well.
  • Learn about 410 Bridge and the ways you can partner with them. www.410bridge.org
  • Partner with 410 by financially supporting a child or a community or 410 directly.
