We seek to glorify God by exercising our gifts of mercy, hospitality, compassion and outreach, as we provide meals to members of our church family. Lay volunteers prepare and deliver dinner meals using their personal resources and time to help those in our church family who have experienced a loss of a close family member.
Who do we serve? We desire to provide a meal to families and individuals in our church body that have experienced a close family loss, to be a comfort in their time of grief, and to provide a tangible opportunity for CCC to express their love and care for our members.
How does it work? The Ministry Coordinator works closely with the church office. Needs are made known through a direct request to the church office, phone, email or referral. A Volunteer Team Leader is then contacted by the Coordinator and the team works together to plan, make, and deliver the meal to the family.
How can I help? The meal ministry is an excellent way to serve others, share Jesus, and make a difference in someone’s life. The purpose is to help someone in need by providing support, a friendly face, and a meal made with love. If you would like to join or lead one of our meal teams, please submit your personal information below. Each team usually serves 1-2 times a year.
