Women of Life is a ministry for the women of Christ Community Church and our goal is to come together to glorify Christ. We provide opportunities for women who attend CCC to grow spiritually and develop deep friendships with each other. There are many ways we cultivate this through bible studies, corporate prayer, worship, and a mentoring ministry. We also host special events throughout the year that provide inspiration and growth as well as inviting guest speakers and utilizing the talents and abilities of our own members.
Women of Life is offering a Bible Study Wednesday Mornings (9:30-11:30 AM) or Wednesday Evenings (6:00-8:00 PM) beginning on January 23rd. We will begin a 9-week study, "Secrets of the Vine," by Bruce Wilkinson. Childcare is provided for both study times. Please stop by the Women of Life table to sign-up!
Every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., women gather at the church office to pray over specific areas and as the Lord leads for the needs of our church. This is open to all women of CCC. If you have specific prayer requests, please submit them in the form.
The heart of the Merea ministry is to see the women of CCC become firmly rooted in Jesus and the living Word of God. We believe in a mentoring relationship between an older and younger woman can be rich soil for such growth. Because we believe in the value of relationship, the ministry has been named Merea, which in Hebrew means "companion, confidential friend." Applications for the 2019 Mentoring year are now closed!
Oasis Moms Ministry is a biblical based parenting program designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationships with their husbands and children. It includes quality instruction in parenting, small group discussion, and the interaction of more experienced mothers with younger moms. Oasis meets the first and third Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM in the Shed.
Throughout the course of the year we will host various special events in the form of monthly gatherings and an annual retreat. All of these opportunities are wonderful times to gather with women in the church to worship and fellowship together.
