CCC Kids 4th - 5th Grade Summer Plan

Picture
Summer Plan for 4th and 5th grades

We have exciting news to share! We are planning a special summer 5th grade curriculum to help our students progress to 320 Students in the fall. They will dive into their Christian faith and participate in the main worship service. Essentially it is a “Rooted Jr.” class. Based on feedback from parents and kids who have “graduated” into the student ministry, we have prayerfully designed this summer program to help with this transition.

Beginning, June 1:   4th grade will check in and go to Mill Creek. 5th grade will check in and go to Manchester which is next door. Teachers will be in hall to direct.

*At the beginning of each service, leaders will escort 5th graders through the front, left- side door of the sanctuary and sit near the front. They will remain in the worship service for the first 15 minutes. After this time, they will exit the same way and return to class.

*4th Grade will remain in Mill Creek and enjoy their lesson and activities. If any 5th graders arrive after their classmates have already moved to the sanctuary, they will remain in Mill Creek with the 4th grade.

*When the 5th grade class returns, all 5th graders will go next door to Manchester. You will pick up your 5th grader from Manchester.

*By dividing the classes, we aim to create smaller groups so they can have meaningful and in-depth conversations and activities. To reach this goal, we need to have two adult volunteers in each room. We are asking for your help to provide this amazing experience for your children.

We are only asking for you to serve 1 hour this summer and help out your kids' amazing teachers. They love serving your kids, but they cannot do it alone.

We believe this experience is vital for your children as they transition to middle school.
Thank you for partnering with us on this very important and exciting time in your child’s faith journey.

Please choose your Sunday below.
Look for the specific slots for 4th/5th grade class on each date/time.
