The Heartbeat of Christ Community Church is SMALL GROUPS!

Every member needs to be a part of one!

LIFE Groups are Christ Community’s small group ministry. It is where we do LIFE together. We believe that spiritual growth best occurs in the context of community where each believer lives out his or her design as intentioned by Christ [Ephesians 4:16]

LIFE Groups are the reality of that vision. They are a place you can call home and a place you can depend on others for encouragement, prayer and counsel. LIFE Groups meet from September to May at various times during the week in homes throughout the community. You can expect solid Biblical teaching in an atmosphere that welcomes your thoughts and ideas.

The Small Group Ministry of Christ Community Church will be based on the “LIFE” acronym:

LOVE

“But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

The beginning originates in the love of God. By giving His son Jesus, God reminded the world that life does not begin with physical birth. True life begins when the love of God changes a person’s soul. LIFE Groups will be designed to introduce people to the wonderful love of God through Jesus!

INTIMACY

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Matt. 22:37

Deep within every person is a longing for intimacy! God desires to beknown and to completely satisfy our hearts desire for intimacy. LIFE Groups will be designed to encourage intimacy with God and people!

FELLOWSHIP

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another…” Hebrews 10:24,25

Personal and intimate relationships are at the core of God’s heart. LIFE Groups will be designed to offer our church family and community opportunities to form meaningful and personal relationships with God and one another – relationships that build up, strengthen, and encourage by engaging in inductive Bible Study!

EVANGELISM

 “And when they had prayed, the building where they were meeting shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. And they preached God’s message with boldness.” Acts 4:31

God shared with the world His son Jesus and changed the course of history forever. In doing so, God reunited us with Him and called us to join Him in sharing the Gospel – a message of love, forgiveness, freedom, and hope. LIFE Groups will be designed to equip individuals to share the love of Jesus in their community, workplace, and home.
